Mirror's Edge Wallpaper Pack.

Stumbled upon a great archive of high-resolution screenshots from Mirror's Edge by Lachlan McDonald. He was able to capture some of the games most visually appealing environments using Unreal3's built-in high resolution screenshot functionally. Download the full 288 mb package including all 115 wallpapers below. 

Both archives below contain all 115 wallpapers in JPEG format in 2,560 × 1,600px.

Leica Explorer.

Leica sent 10 lucky winners around the world with the new Leica V-Lux 2. Each one was sent to a different country and kept a daily video/photo blog. The images and videos captured from each trip have been collected and presented through the Leica Explorer site.

A desktop screensaver featuring the images and videos from all 10 photographers can be downloaded below. I did notice that the screensaver is a resource hog and will eat up your memory and cpu (you have been warned). The 100mb screensaver is definitely worth it in the end.

2010 Mac Screensaver Pack.

Although the interest in screensavers has died down in the past few years, there are many people who design and use them. I agree that leaving your monitor on with a screensaver is wasteful, but hey, its still nice to look at.

I have done some digging around on the interwebs, and have found a few screensavers that will definitely keep your screen occupied. Several have been posted here before, but are definitely worthy of a repost.

Boxee.

Boxee is the first “social” media center, based on the xbox media center open source project (xmbc). Boxee plays media from your computer and other devices in your home network, as well as connect you to various Internet sources that allow you to stream or download movies, tv shows, music and photos, eg Revision 3. The Boxee team have recently released some details about the Boxee Box. Designed by Astro Studios, the team who crafted designs for the Xbox 360, watches from Nike, Alienware PCs. It’s being built by D-Link, the leading networking company for homes & small businesses.(more info)
