Asics Rotation 77.

Asics finally released  the next Onitsuka Tiger Rotation 77 lineup, now featuring a new Castlerock/Navy color scheme. The only thing left is to scout out a decent online retailer and grab a pair asap!

The history of Onitsuka Tiger shoes began with the establishment of Onitsuka Co. Ltd. in 1949. Based on the philosophy of bringing up sound youth through sports, the company has maintained the tradition of specializing in the manufacturing of sports shoes and clothing using original ideas and applying epoch-making techniques.

Saucony White Bullet.

Although Saucony is known for its ugly, yet durable shoes, they do offer a few decent looking models. The Bullet features a lighweght, low profile build and classic looks, the White Bullet is an understated sneaker, with a suede and nylon upper, shock-absorbing midsole for comfort, white and olive color scheme, and a textured rubber sole that extends up to the toe, enhancing durability and traction.

DIY | Shoe Rack.

Unlike most shoe racks, this DIY model features a floating base design which forces you to stay neat and tidy. The only downside that i can see is that when it rains or snows. The moisture will gather on the floor underneath the shoes.

Rather then shell out $75 for a manufactured shoe rack, they decided to save some money and make one that would have dimensions which would allow them to store all of their shoes. Inspired by the J-Me Shoe Rack from DWR, Megan and Scott designed theirs to fit perfectly within their space. Instead of metal to hold shoes by the toe, they decided on two different widths of poplar boards and L-brackets spaced a few inches apart. Very minimal design, look for it in the future at a furniture store. IKEA maybe?

I ♥ Free Stuff

So recently I decided to enter this contest on Twitter. Marcus Troy (@marcustroy) was giving away a pair of brand new shoes for free to the person who would refer the most amount of twitter followers to his twitter account. So, I decided to enter this contest and posted a tweet "follow @marcustroy....". After a few weeks I was amazed at the fact that I had actually won this contest and was about to recieve a designer Nike 90's Air shoe, free. Naturally I had doubts about this contest, about who would actually give away $200 shoes as a prize and to someone that they met on a social networking website such as twitter.

Well, today i recieved a package from Marcus, with a brand new pair of Nike 90's Premium shoes and a t-shirt from Alphanumeric. Just goes to show that there are legitimate people out there on twitter who hold contests which you can win!
