Kuroshio Sea.

Shot at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan using a Canon 5DMKII with a 28-135mm lens. This is the 2nd largest aquarium tank in the world and it surely does live up to its reputation.

The main tank called the "Kuroshio Sea" holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world's second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.

The music is "Please don't go" by Barcelona.

HP - Invent.

"Present an idea which promotes HP Workstations ability to bring to life anything the creative mind can conceive."

That is what HP sent out for their user-made advertisements contest. Two students from the Kingston University Moving Image Department decided to create a mesmerizing synchronized printing routine with a stable of HP printers. Not only have they successfully created an amazing advertisement but have managed to print hundreds of sheets without a single error. Which to me is amazing, as my HP printer siezes to print after printing a mere 10 sheets of colored paper. They've tamed one of our generation's greatest technological beasts, and made it dance for us. Good work.

Feature | Odaiba Gundam.

So, they built a 1:1 scale replica of the RX-78 to protect Odaiba from the forces of pollution? I don't know. I should really be studying. But this is just amazing. Looks like they built it for the upcoming Gundam summer festival - celebrating the franchise's 30th Anniversary starting in July. This monster is almost a 1:1 scale representation of its anime counterpart, and boasts intricate mechanical details reminiscent of Bandai Master Grade model kits for those in the know (not me). Not to mention that the figure features active light signals and limited animatronic functions. How much money do people have these days. I think we need one in Toronto ;]
