My foray into Etymology

02 Mar 2015

A week(ish) sprint dedicated to the word Groovy.

Most of last week was spent working on a little side project. Although it really does not serve any great purpose, this was a great way to keep myself busy and to create something beautiful. So, I tapped into a few sources including Google’s NGRAM db to create a small data visualization. I wanted to develop a SSW that was not only visually appealing, but also a platform which I could build upon at a later time.

Although the site currently only displays information relating to the word Groovy, I hope to add a library of words in the near future.

Groovy was built using the Skeleton css boilerplate :)

Try it out here, Groovy, my foray into the world of Etymology
